It is in sharing, whether physical, emotional, psychic, intellectual or spiritual that forms a bridge between the sharers. It can become the basis for understanding much of what is not shared between them; it minimizes the threat of their differences. Let us learn the benefit of sharing inspired by the writings of Yonatan Zunger.

Each of us has a unique story to tell. People we interact with and the situations we were born shape our perception of the world that we take throughout our life. As we continue to absorb more information, our decisions change over time. The more knowledge we accumulate, the better we are to reason, question and ponder issues that will shape the future for generations before us.

Writing means sharing. It's part of the human condition to want to share things - thoughts, ideas, and opinions. Paulo Coelho

Whatever our opinion, whether it is left, right, or straight down the middle, we will never make an impact unless we share our thoughts and ideas. When we collaborate and exchange these thoughts and ideas, we learn more about ourselves and apply the knowledge in making better decisions.

By sharing, we are giving someone else information that could completely change the way they see things. By sharing, we have the power to help people better understand themselves and the issues that we face in our exceedingly complicated world today.

As we embark on the journey of sharing, we quickly learn things about our self. We start to pay more attention to our inner dialog, we get a better understanding for the way that we think and process ideas. As we start to share these ideas, the transmission of them becomes much more fluent, and much more comfortable.

When we decide that censoring our self, trying to preserve some artificial sense of anonymity or convince our self that we can make an impact, it is finally time to tell our story.

Our story will develop over time and we will say things at one point that we will later disagree with. We will accumulate new information and a better understanding for the things we ponder every day. These experiences and this additional knowledge will shape our thoughts and perspective and allow us to paint a more complete picture later in our life.

A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside.  Denis Waitley

However, as we learn and experience new things, it is incredibly important to challenge, analyze them, debate them and think about them. Expressing them openly is a great way to encourage others to discuss these matters with us.
From those discussions we will form great relationships, some bonds which will last a lifetime, Sharing our thoughts, our ideas, our arguments, our assumptions and our experiences, will also allow someone else to see the world the way we see it.

The more perspectives that we are willing to view and the more shoes we are willing to try on, the greater understanding we will have of the world around us and the issues that matter to us most.

However, if we do not share our story, our thoughts, our opinions or our ideas, we will have nothing to think of other than your preconceived notions. Without additional information to change the way we think about things, we will be stuck in whatever mindset we already have.

It is by sharing that we do learn more; by sharing, we enable each other to help make the world a better place, thatís why sharing is so necessary in our life.

In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.-Khalil Gibran
