Happiness is a state of mind; our mind is like a garden and our thoughts are the seeds. We can grow flowers or we can grow weeds. A great attitude becomes a great mood; a great mood becomes a great day; a great day becomes a great year; a great year becomes a great life.

A bad attitude can literally block love, blessings, and destiny from finding you. Don't be the reason you don't succeed.

Yes, our life is a creation of our mind which is like a parachute, it does not work, if it is not open; it is like an umbrella in the rain, it won't protect us unless it is fully opened. We have to take care of our thoughts when we are alone, and take care of our words when we are with people.

The problem is not the problem. The problem is our attitude towards the problem.

The first place we lose the battle is in our own thinking. If we think it will happen then it will happen; if we think we have reached our limits then we have. We have to change our thinking. We need to see everything that is holding us back, every obstacle and every limitation as only temporary.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, education, money, than circumstances, failure, successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It could make or break a company, organization or a home. However, the good news is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we decide to embrace for that day.

We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that some people will act in a certain way; we cannot change the inevitable; the only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I do believe that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it. We are in charge of our attitudes.
