Most of the time, life can seem a bit disappointing. Even the greatest lives are full of profound loss and heartbreak. It seems that pain is inevitable, and while we may say that we know good can come out of it, what hurts still hurts and we can quite easily lose hope.

Despair is often cyclical, spiraling one into depression and helplessness, leading to even greater despair. As humans, we need hope. It is the lifeblood to our spiritual survival, and the only thing that pulls us out of the deep trenches of the pain and hurt of life.

Life ends when you stop dreaming, hope ends when you stop believing and love ends when you stop caring. So dream, hope and love. Let us make life beautiful.

There have been points throughout my life that it seemed, I had no more energy to fight. I wanted to give up, throw in the towel, and not ever look back. But God, in His infinite mercy whispered hope that brought back to life areas that were seemed dead and reminded me that I was the one who was broken and needed hope.

I have learned that hope and faith are two words that we should understand how they affect us and our ability to create and live the life of our dreams.  Hope is a driving force that things will be better, that things can be better. Hope gives us purpose. It keeps us alive. It drives us, inspires us, and moves us to do and have more.

No matter how difficult the challenge, when we spread our wings of faith and allow the winds of God's spirit to lift us, no obstacle is too great to overcome.

When it comes to faith, we must learn to gather as much information as possible about something we need to have faith in. Then, and only then, we are able to place faith in something. Faith is placing trust on something we cannot see. It does not mean that we must blindly trust, and we never should.

We must all have hope and faith in life and develop a personal relationship to these words. These words move us forward. They lift us and give us the drive to do more, be more, and have more for ourselves. Let us develop hope and faith within ourselves; faith in our ability to improve our life, and the hope for something better.

Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success.-Lao Tzu
