The happiest people in life are the givers not the receivers. Kindness is a word that is thrown around a lot nowadays, but many of us do not really have the idea what it truly means to be kind. Kindness can range from full blown gestures or something as simple as a smile and a wave to a neighbor. It can bridge the gap between those parted by hate, and give those who love the confidence to trust the people around them. It is a truly powerful virtue, but we often forget to utilize it, or more importantly, appreciate it.

I have learned that more often we never realize what an intricate role

Kindness is more than deeds. It is an attitude, an expression, a look, a touch. It is anything that lifts another person.

kindness plays in our lives. At some point, we have all received kindness from someone, big or small, that knowingly or unknowingly changed our lives in some way, and we, in turn, have shared that kindness with someone passing by us, and changed their lives as well.

Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.- Mark Twain
I have also learned that in helping others, we help ourselves, for whatever good we give out, completes the circle and comes back to us. A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost. When we sow courtesy, we reap friendship, and when we plant kindness we gather love .When we carry act of kindness with no expectation of reward, rest assure that one day someone will do the same for us, for no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

The kindness we give is not always the same thing we get in return. Sometimes, it is more; sometimes, it is less. Sometimes we get none at all. But God knows that the one who willingly gives is always more blessed than the one who receives.
