Our best teacher is our last mistake. Many of us are afraid to try something new because we feel we might make a mistake. We are both right and wrong.

The wise learn from the mistakes of others, instead of judging them.

Yes, we will probably make errors but it is good to understand that errors go with the territory. We will never accomplish great or worthwhile things without risk and risk generally means great mistake potential.

Half our mistakes in life arise from feeling where we ought to think, and thinking were we ought to feel.-John Churton Collins

I have learned that it is not how we make mistakes, but how we correct them that defines us. Making bad decisions is a part of life. Blaming others for our bad decisions is immature. Everybody makes mistake, but it takes a man to admit it, stand through it and learn from it. The wise learn from the mistakes of others, instead of judging them.

Let us not place our mistakes on our head, their weight may crush us. Instead, place them under our feet and use them as a platform to view our horizons.  We must be honest enough to admit our mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them. We can never make the same mistake twice, because the second time we make it, itís not a mistake, itís a choice.

A courageous person is one who acknowledges his/her mistakes & weaknesses. Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference.
