Revenge is a way of life and definitely something that many of us identify with. We all feel cheated in some way about something and how nice it would be to do something about it.

Donít waste your time on revenge. Those who hurt you will eventually face their own karma.

To some of us, forgiveness is not easy when the so-called friends or relatives took advantage of us, used us, belittled us, stepped on us, betrayed us, and more. However revenge is not the most Christian sentiment we should embrace. Weak people revenge, strong people forgive and intelligent people ignore.

Grudges are for those who insist that they are owed something; forgiveness, however, is for those who are substantial enough to move on.― Criss Jami

I have learned that life is an echo, what we share (good or bad), comes back to us in many folds. I have also learned with deep gratitude, that the best and the greatest revenge of all, is having a successful, happy and comfortable life. Grudges are for those who insist that they are owed something; forgiveness, however, is for those who are substantial enough to move on and live a contented life.

Vengeance comes a little from the heart and a lot from the mind; we must take ourselves apart from the weaknesses of men: greed, the desire for power and self-importance. Vengeance and forgiveness are about reconciling the accounts, but accounting is an ugly description of the tangled ways we are connected.

I sometimes think everything comes out even in the end, but an end that arches beyond the horizon, beyond our capacity to perceive or measure, and that in many cases those who trespass against us do so out of a misery that means the punishment preceded and even precipitated the wrongdoing.

Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.
