Let us not wait until the time will be just right. Let us start now and work with whatever tools that we may have to accomplish our goal. Better tools will come as we go along. Great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving.

To reach the port, we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it, but we must sail, and not drift, nor lie at anchor. Not everything that is faced can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced. Here are some beautiful thoughts from an unknown writer.

Still dreaming about that new car or that holiday? Perhaps the new business you have always wanted or the boat, helicopter or Lear Jet? Hmmm .. so what are you waiting for?

Surely you havenít rationalized that you donít have enough time, money nor resources. Surely you havenít rationalized that you donít have enough knowledge, information nor personal skills. Or perhaps you considered that you were scared about the uncertainty of the outcome or a fear of something is holding you back.

Well, the truth is, there are only two things that hold any of us back from being our personal best. No, itís not a fear of embarrassment or a fear of humiliation. Itís a need. Yes, a need to avoid pain and a need to avoid fear. These two small insignificant, conscious thoughts are solely responsible for holding us back from achieving our personal best.

You see, itís either out of our need to avoid pain or out of our need to avoid fear that we donít act. We are human and yes we get scared sometimes, but in reality as Zig Ziglar would say, ďAnything worth doing, is worth doing poorly until you can do it betterĒ. You have to put yourself out there. You have to put yourself on the line. You have to stretch and do what you didnít think you could do.

Thereís no greater feeling, no greater sensation and no greater sense of satisfaction as when one seriously puts himself/herself on the line. Do this and win, lose or draw, at least you will know that you are seriously being the best you can be!
