Our limitations and success are based,
most often, on our own expectations for ourselves. What the mind dwells
upon, the body acts upon. Our greatest glory is not in never failing,
but in rising up every time we fail. The prices of success are
dedication, hard work and an unremitting devotion to the things we want
to see happen. Our success and happiness rest in us. Success is to be
measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life, as by
the obstacles which one has overcome while trying to succeed.
Quitters make excuses for quitting.
Winners make reasons for winning. When you spend your time making
reasons to win… you’ll never have an excuse to quit. Winners are losers
who get up and give it one more try. A winner never quits; a quitter
never wins.
Defeat is a state of mind. No one is ever
defeated until he/she has accepted it as a reality. Defeat in anything
is merely temporary, and its punishment is but an urge to greater effort
to achieve our goal. Defeat simply tells us that something is wrong in
our doing; it is a path leading to success and truth.
When we want something badly enough,
nothing can hold us back! Obstacles may trip us up, challenges may tax
our abilities, but desire still fuels our progress. Circumstances will
present themselves as roadblocks, but if we want it badly enough, we
will triumph.
Let's tune in to the strength of our
desires. Success is as near as our desire to achieve it. Victories in
life come through our ability to work around and over the obstacles that
cross our path. We grow stronger as we climb our own mountains.
Every situation, properly perceived,
becomes an opportunity. But you have to act on them if you’re going to
be successful.
Distant pastures always look greener than
those close at hand, But real opportunities are right where you are. You
must simply take advantage of them when they appear. You can start where
you are at any time.
Success is all around you. It’s not in
your environment, it’s not in luck or chance, nor in the help of others.
Success is in you alone.
You don’t need more strength nor more
ability or greater opportunity. What you need is to use what you have.
Learn to seize good fortune, for it is always around you.
You must go to success, it doesn’t come
to you. Open your own doors to opportunities.
