The difference between great people and everyone else is great people dream and create their lives actively towards whatever they wish to accomplish; while everyone else is created by their lives, passively waiting to see where life takes them next. The difference between the two is the difference between living fully and just existing.

If we wish for something without vision and action, it would merely be a dream or fantasy. That something will rarely happen. Vision with action can change our world. A true leader must first see an idea as opportunity, then, choose to plan and act upon it. To accomplish great things, we must not only dream but plan; we must not only act, but also believe.

If we don't like what's happening to us in the world, all we have to do is change our consciousness -- and the world out there changes for us! - Lester Levenson

To achieve a successful and fulfilling life, it is essential that we develop the awareness and accept the fact that we are responsible for creating the events, conditions and circumstances which make up our life experiences.

If we wish to attract the big outcomes that would allow us to live a life of abundance, joy, fulfillment, inner peace and happiness, we must make a conscious choice to become keenly and consciously aware of our predominant thoughts and immediately shift those thoughts we discover that are contrary to our desired outcomes. Then we could change our beliefs and alter the emotional responses associated with them and transform the outcomes in every area of our lives in a dramatic and seemingly miraculous way.

We certainly have the ability to change our thoughts! But we need to be aware of their life changing power by allowing ourselves to absorb and accept the truth about ourselves, our vision and establish the belief that we are entitled.

A conscious choice to do so will enable and empower us to begin attracting the events, conditions, and circumstances into our lives that we had previously considered to be unrealistic!

Early in life, I learned from the two famous inspirational and personal development authors (Norman Vincent Peale, author of The Power of Positive Thinking and Dale Carnegie, author of How to Stop Worrying and Start Living) some techniques of getting rid of worries and achieving inner peace. They require practice, practice and practice but they are worth doing.

One of the techniques is to relax the body, empty the mind of negative thoughts, absorbing and visualizing positive thoughts and actualizing or believing that they are actually happening and real. Repetition of positive affirmations, like: "If God is for us, who can be against us?"  also increases our self-confidence and works wonders.

Yes, we possess the power and the ability to choose which seeds we are planting into our lives!  We could wake up and shake off the self limiting beliefs that have held us bound to a world of lack, limitation, stress, anxiety, illness and disease, and claim what God has declared as our birthright to be fulfilled and live a happy life.

Once we become consciously aware of the self limiting blinders that the world has placed on us, and awaken to a life that God, the Source of all, intended for us to experience, and created for us to enjoy, we will have made tremendous progress in beginning to create the life of fulfillment and happiness that is ours to experience.

A life overflowing with more than we could possibly imagine awaits us if only we would take the positive action, follow the guidance received and allow it to flow with confidence.

Now playing: Climb Every Mountain

If you want to succeed in the world, you must make your own opportunities as you go on. The man who waits for some seventh wave to toss him on dry land will find that the seventh wave is a long time a coming. You can commit no greater folly than to sit by the roadside until someone comes along and invites you to ride with him to wealth or influence.-John B. Gough
