The Armor of God
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on
the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the
preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of
faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of
the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the Word of God, Ephesians 6:13-17:
The Belt = The Truth
The Breastplate = Righteousness
Shoes = Ready To Spread The Gospel
The Shield = Faith
The Helmet = Salvation
The Sword = Word of God
Anger
He who is slow to anger is better that the mighty; and he who ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Proverbs 16:32
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Proverbs 15:1
Believing
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible
to him that belietheth. Mark 9:23
Children
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will
not depart from it. Proverbs 22:5
Then little children were brought to Him that he might put his hands
on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said,
“Let the children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is
the kingdom of heaven.” Mathew 19:13-14
Enemies
When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be
at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7
For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you
against your enemies, to save you. Deuteronomy 20:4
Faith
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I
say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his
heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come
to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:22-23
Fear
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have
no faith? Mark 4:40
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of
love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

Giving
Blessed is he that considereth the poor; the Lord will deliver him
in time of trouble.
The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be
blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will
of his enemies. Psalms 41:1-2
God's Wrath
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which
the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will
melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it
will be burned up. 2 Peter 3:10
And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the
lake of fire. Revelation 20:15
Gossip
Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people:
neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am the
Lord. Leviticus 19:16
Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working
deceitfully. Psalm 52:2
Guidance
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth
in his ways. Psalm 37:23
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead
them in the paths that they have not known; I will make darkness
light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I

Holy Spirit
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not
what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he
that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will
of God. Romans 8:26-27
Hope
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted
within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, who is the
health of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 42:11
Jesus the Lord of Lords and King of Kings
“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and
he who believes in me shall never thirst.”John 6:35
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in
him, bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing. John 15:5
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me. John 14:6
For
it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell.And
by Him to reconcile all things to Himself , by Him whether things
on earth or things in heaven,
having made peace through the blood of His cross.

Jesus' Return
But
of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which
are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch
and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Mark 13
But know this, that if the Goodman of the house had known in what
watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not
have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the
Son of man cometh. Mathew 24:43-44
Joy
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in
you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11
I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no
man taketh from you. John 16:22
Love
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John
4:7-8
Jesus said unto them, “you shall love the Lord your God with all
your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the
first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.” Mathew 22:37-39
Lying
The lip of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue
is but for a moment. Proverbs 12:19
For he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his
tongue from evil, and lips from speaking deceit. 1 Peter 3:10
Marriage
Let the husband render unto his wife due benevolence: and likewise
also the wife unto the husband. 1 Corinthians 7:3
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth
his wife loveth himself. Ephesians 5:28
Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but
fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4
Patience
And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall
reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of
God, ye might receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36
Peace
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye
are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world
giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let
it be afraid. John 14:27
Prayer
Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he
that seeketh find; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Mathew 7:7-8
It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and
while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask
anything according to His will, He hears us.1 John 5:14
Pride
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he
deceiveth himself. Galatians 6:3
Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
Proverbs 16:18
Protection
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are
open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them
that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers
of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake,
happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be
troubled. 1 Peter 3:12-14
Repentance
The time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye,
and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15
Salvation
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can
he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I
said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:3-7
Satan
(The father of lies, a defeated foe)
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from
the evil one. 1 Timothy 3:3
Satan's fate -
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and
where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be
tormented day and night forever and ever Revelation 20:10
Just small fraction of Satan's many lies:
No one loves you. Look how long it’s been, Jesus is not coming back.
God won’t bless someone with your past.
God is not going to answer your prayers.
You’ll never prosper. Someone like you could never minister to others.
That sickness runs in your family, you’re going to get it too.
There’s no way to save your marriage.
Seeking the Lord
The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he
will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. 2
Chronicles 15:2
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with
all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
Troubling Times
The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows
those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7
My flesh and my heart fail: but God is the strength of my heart, and
my portion for ever. Psalm 73:26
Whether You Believe or Not
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Mark 13:31
Worry
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love
God, to them who are called according to his purposeRomans 8:28
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known unto God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Worship
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth. John 4:24
